WOW! - everyone seems to be working themselves into a 'scrapping' frenzy....while I spent the weekend working on all things pink!! Macy has been busy designing some awesome new kits with a masculine touch. I love the rustic look of both of them. Although, we are a household where girls are in the majority I found these fun photos of my husband that were perfect to showcase with these new kits. So without further ado here are the two new releases from Macy Goode Designs - Boys will be Boys
and this is what I created with it - isn't that tree embellishment just the best??
...this other kit is all about holidays....with my love of travel I can see I will be giving this kit a bit of a workout in my Storybooks ;)
....and the layout I created this afternoon....cool photo hey??
...and then because this is such a fabulous kit....another quick layout - dreaming of more overseas travel!!

Pretty in Pink (and Green)
....you only have to take a look at my blog to see I love pink and green colour combinations. I also love creating layouts in this colour scheme and you will find plenty of pink in my wardrobe and green in my home decor. One of my favourite features is the "colour wash" in Creative Memories SBC+ digital software - it means I can alter any paper and embellishment to make it pink and this week I created lots of pretty pink layouts - here is a sneak peak at some of them - Enjoy!
and yes! - if you recognise these frames they are more from Janet Carr's New Perspective Frame Kit - check it out at her store at fortheluvofart.com - I LOVE them!!

For the Luv of Art
A great new online store opened this week - fortheluvofart.com - I love the caption on their home page...it reads "where the colours and textures of your imagination come to life" - sounds like my kinda place doesn't it?? Now, you all know I am a huge fan of Janet Carr's Little Feet Digital Designs - well; guess what? Her kits are now available to purchase from this store and for their grand opening she released a brand new kit to compliment her current beach designs. This fabulous kit is called "Where I Long to Be - Serenity of the Cape" - here is a little preview of the kit.
and of course I had the perfect photos to use with these gorgeous designs and today I created three more layouts in my own little beach series - all are posted to the gallery at For the Luv of Art too!
...do you like the way I framed the photo in this layout?? - cool hey?? Well this is another of Janet's designs - check out the store at For the Luv of Art for the kit called "Frames - New Perspective" - I love these frames!! :)

More Digi Play
Firstly, remember yesterday when I said Macy had added 2 more alphas to her range - well I was wrong!! she has added 3 - don't you just love having variety???
I've got all these alpha's loaded on my computer now - next stop lots of digi play!!
Today I've had fun making up some layouts for friends to print and frame...one is for my friend's photography blog...the other, is for little Elyce to hang on her bedroom wall, her only request for allowing me to follow her around with my camera.
....layout created with Creative Memories Blush Blooms Digital Kit and the font used for the quote is Euphorigenic S - simple & classy.
and this layout was created using the Flutterby Digital Kit designed by Litabell Designs - just perfect for this photo.

I'm Back!!
Yes, Yes, Yes, finally my computer is home from the repair man and I'm feeling so much better and ever so happy!!! - life was very miserable not being able to digi scrap. To be fair it was probably a good time for my laptop to be at the Dr's 'cos I too was feeling very poorly - lost 3 days in bed due to illness and struggled for the next week. My medicine came in the way of a lovely weekend shared with my BFF and our extended group of scrapping buddies. A weekend of laughter, giggles and warm friendship cures all!! and today I managed four layouts - here is a peek!
...there is a funny story to go with this page....I created this page using Creative Memories Vintage Romance combined with some embellishments from LitaBelle Designs just 'cos I loved the colours. The next day Judy and I went out to do some experimenting with our cameras. I decided to add a few of the photos we took to this layout.... and when I did.. I couldn't believe how colour co-ordinated everything was!! Unbelievable!!
I've been experimenting a lot since completing my photography course and this layout was done using some photos I took yesterday of my friend's 2 daughters and their pet lamb - sadly only 1 daughter would play the game but I am happy with the results. Layout created mainly using Creative Memories Delight Digital Kit.
I also got to play with two of Macy Goode's latest kits - the Orchard Digital Kit and the Weathered Cardboard Alpha....there are also two other alpha's that co-ordinate with this kit - be sure to check them out!
...and here are two layouts I created with these fabulous kits - more photos of the little Cutie with her lamb (who btw is called - Mary) and my gorgeous friends on our weekend away.

Who Loves Freebies????
This week - just hasn't been my week!! - I have my computer at the Dr's ( I am playing on a borrowed one - but it is not the same )....then my body decided to go out in sympathy and I have been laid up in bed for a few days with "aches & shakes" - yes whoa! is me!! - I am just miserable.....
BUT I have been cheered up by the news that my friend Macy has just released a brand new Digital Kit "Birthday Wishes" - you can't help but smile when you see this fun kit. It also has a fantastic alpha set to compliment your layouts................and there is even more good news Macy is giving away this kit for free over on her blog - macygoode.blogspot.com All you have to do is leave a comment about your favourite age and a winner will be chosen at random - woo hoo!! - how easy is that??
